Q1: Do I register lunch in the new system?
A: No, only 7,5 hours is to be registered as 1 full day.
Q2: What about public holidays?
A: The public holidays are not greyed out, and each employee has too make sure not to add hours on the public holidays. Tip: you can go into “Timeoversikt” (Norwegian word for “Timesheet” however the button is in Norwegian at the moment) then click on the period you want to check. If there is no planned 7,5 hours on this day then its identified as a public holiday in your calendar.
Q3: My flexi hours don’t show?
A: The Flexi hours are counted every day, and some are also not showing because they are pending project transactions. This will be fixed, and your pending project hours will show at the end of the month.
Q4: Activity on project is not showing?
A: This is the responsibility of the project manager of the project. And only the project manager can make the activities in the work breakdown structure.
Q5: Vacation and application for vacation?
A: There is no “application for vacation” in D365. Agree with your manager/team how you can best coordinate and agree on vacation schedules.
Then, use the project (AB or Absence), and the category “900 Vacation”. Fill in hours equal to your full workday (for instance 7,5h). After submitting, this timesheet will be sent to your line manager for approval.
Q6: I cannot find the right project?
A: First have a look at the Legal entity, some projects are being owned by different legal entities and you have to choose this before searching for it.
Q7: My timesheet was rejected – what next?
A: Fix and Resubmit the timesheet as follows:
Open the timesheet in question and fix the lines in it based on the reason for returning (change project, activity, category etc..). When you are done, choose resubmit as a workflow action.
